“1974” is an experimental music project by Rip Rowan and Byron Glickfeld.
“1974” tells the story of the end of the Vietnam war, Watergate, the oil crisis, and other current social and political issues through the vehicle of experimental music and sound collages. In short, “1974” is about 1974, but it doesn’t sound like 1974.
“1974” is first and foremost a sonic experience and may be enjoyed best with eyes closed and at high volume. This full-length video collage is intended simply as a visual supplement to the audio.
